November the 14th saw the Dower House Hotel in Knaresborough once again host the annual Rider League Awards do. This event has become a major part of the UK’s Wakeboarding circuit, where all the Riders on the UK Rider League Circuit get honoured, with individual and overall winners awards are handed out. Wake and Ski Boats for those that know us, like to throw a great party, and we did not disappoint… With 65 people attending, the meal was great, the awards as always looked great taking the main table and the evening began with a review of the year in form of the Rider League Photo Show courtesy of top photographer Perry Lux.. Then once the awards were given out, it was time for some light hearted fun, so to everyones surprise Simon’s alter ego Keith Kumquat made a personal appearance to host a special wakeboard version of Celebrity Juice! With Steve ‘Thommo’ Willobooby captaining one team and Gino D’Overmeer captaining the others we had some great games lined up… Fairplay to Rob Beaton, Carol Thompson, Mike Heaton, and Jonny Lodge for bring great sports and participating in delights such as Eggs beaten by Rob Beaton Eggs, What have you Eaten Mike Heaton, and off course the VT round of Keith Versus Machine!! Much fun was once again had by all and another great end to a great season!! See you all next year!
