So the 2017 Season is about to finish and the festivities of Christmas begin….
It has been a manic year at Wake and Ski Boats HQ once again, and we would like to thank all our customers old and new for your amazing support once again throughout the 2017 season…..
Highlights include 2 XT Launch days kickstarted the season first one at Preston and then the Yorkshire Premiere in our showroom in March….
We once again fully supported the Kneeboard UK tour, which included 3 stops in Britain and the team represented the UK out in Orlando in August taking on the USA, and Austrailia in the Rider Cup.
2017 also saw the start of the Wake and Ski Boats Slalom League, aimed at all levels, and in particular people who have never competed in Slalom before, with a tremendous following to say it was a success is an understatement and Slalom League will be back even bigger in 2018….
The Cutting Edge Youth Championships took place at the lovely site of Cotswolds Water Ski in August, and with a record number of entries 67 in total taking part over two days in 6 disciplines. The atmosphere was amazing and if your thinking of getting involved please get in touch and do it… An amazing introduction to competitive watersports for the youngsters and a brilliant social event on the calendar!
We then of course held our Christmas party for staff, customers and friends, which this year was held at the lovely Mercure Hotel in Wetherby where we had usual frolics and fun, and was great to see all disciplines represented and a lot of clubs in the region represented… We gave out a few prestigious awards for people who have supported the sport over the years or excelled in competition and safe to say a great night was had by all.
So with our Christmas sales of the Off Road Buggies and Quads now in full swing, and us getting ready for our annual 3 week shut down over Christmas and New Year. All that remains is to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year….
